The Opposition People's National Party is calling on the Prime Minister, who is the Minister with responsible for Local Government to break his deafening silence on the Contractor General"s report indicating allegations of wrong doing on the part of Mr. Everald Warmington related to contracts that were awarded to an entity allegedly connected to him from theSt Catherine Parish Council.

The People's National Party notes with interest the publication in the Gleaner of Sunday, August 22, regarding the engagement of Manatt Phelps and Phillips by the Government of Jamaica.

The Opposition People's National Party is extremely upset at the revelation that the Bustamante Hospital for Children was again invaded by gunmen.

Opposition Spokesman on Health, Dr Fenton Ferguson says "It was only recently when the Spanish Town Hospital was raided by gunmen that I reminded the Minister of Health, Hon. Rudyard Spencer of his instructions to his Ministry after the Bustamante Hospital for Children was invaded by gunmen the first time, to carry out a security audit of all health facilities. To date the country has not been told about the findings of that audit neither have we seen any serious security improvements."
