The Caucus of People's National Party councillors in the KSAC is seeking clarity on the statement made by the Mayor of the KSAC, Desmond McKenzie in relation to the cleaning of drains.

Mayor McKenzie reportedly made reference to councillors not being paid because drains in their Divisions which should have been cleaned, were not done.

Opposition member for the Road and Traffic Committee, Gareth Walker said "The councillors are concerned at the statement made by the Mayor as it could be interpreted as impugning their characters in that they received monies to clean drains in their Divisions and did not do so."

The PNP councillors want the Mayor to state exactly what he meant in his statement.
