Holding of Group Meeting to Select Delegate:
Group Secretaries, with immediate effect, please begin to notify your Group Members of the date you will be holding your Group Meeting to select your delegate(s) for Annual Conference 2008.

Nomination Form and have the required number of financial members sign the form.

• For groups entitled to 1 delegate, there must be a minimum of 6 group members present at your meeting.
• For groups entitled to 2 delegates, there must be a minimum of 10 group members present at your meeting.
• Please read all instructions on your Group Delegate Nomination Form, you may call 978-1337, Extension 204 for clarification.
  • The distribution of Group Delegate Nomination Forms will begin on August 11th. Forms not distributed in the field may be collected at Party HQ beginning August 16th -
  • Either the Group Secretary or Group Chairman can collect the Group Delegate Nomination Forms.
  • To collect the nomination form the Group Chairperson or Group Secretary must present one of the following forms of identification which has not expired:
  • At your collection centre, you will be required to sign indicating that you have collected the form.
  • In the event that there is a dispute regarding the name(s) at the distribution centre, the supervisor for the Centre will prepare a report and that matter will be dealt with by
  August 20th.
  • If a form is lost, misplaced or destroyed, a majority of the members of the Group must submit in writing to the General Secretary, a request for a replacement form.
  • If your request is granted, the previous form will be cancelled. The previous form will not be accepted should it be submitted.
  • All Group Delegate Nomination forms must be returned to the Party Secretariat, 89 Old Hope Road.
  • The Party Secretariat will begin receiving nomination forms on August 14th.
  • The deadline for returning nomination forms is August 22nd at 3:00 p.m.
  • When you return your nomination form please ensure that the bottom portion of your form is returned to you with a stamp from the Party Secretariat.
  • Please keep this receipt carefully; it will assist you if there are any queries.
  • The Group Secretary is expected to collect the Group Delegate Nomination Forms.
  • In the event that the Group Secretary is unavailable, the Group Chairperson can then collect the Group Delegate Nomination Form, but only within the last three hours
  • To collect the nomination form the Group Chairperson or Group Secretary must present one of the following forms of identification which has not expired:

        • EOJ Voter's ID (Accepting either Old or New)
