The People's National Party Youth Organisation is calling on the Prime Minister, The Hon. Bruce Golding to publicly outline the plans to mitigate the current crime problem, given the increase in the murder rate and the wanton killings currently taking place. The PNPYO is particularly disheartened by the indiscriminate killing of women and children. This past weekend alone,18 persons were killed.
The PNPYO is extremely disappointed at the silence of the government in addressing this pressing problem and the apparent limited attention that has been given to this extremely important issue. Further, the PNPYO remains disappointed that the Prime Minister did not address this critical issue in his budget presentation and believes it is fittingly appropriate and urgent for the Prime Minister to disclose the government's plans to address the crime monster.
